What is Telehealth / Online Counseling?

Telehealth (also known as Online Counseling, Telemedicine, Tele Mental Health, or “Skype Therapy”) is the practice of conducting a standard counseling session with a client in a remote location using some form of audio/video conferencing software/hardware.  Telehealth can broadly refer to many service delivery options (e.g. sessions conducted by phone or by video conferencing).   Many providers at Radzom Counseling are available to meet with clients remotely via telehealth. If you are interested in scheduling a telehealth session, please read below to learn more. You can schedule a telehealth session online.

Simply contact our office phone (618-248-2040), email (info@radzomcounseling.com), or use our online scheduling system to schedule a telehealth appointment.  When you contact us, we will help you get connected to a provider who has experience with your concerns and who is also equipped to provide telehealth sessions.

How to TElehealth

About five minutes before the time of your appointment, log into your telehealth appointment through the client portal or by clicking the direct link emailed to you 48 hours before your appointment/text messaged to you 24 hours prior to your appointment and again 10 minutes before your appointment. While our counselors make every effort to begin sessions on time, some clinical circumstances do cause delays.  If the counselor has not connected with you exactly on time, please accept our apologies and know that your counselor will be with you as soon as possible.
